Project Description: Make your own embossed Christmas Candle Covers with vibrate colors using Grafix metallic Foil Board and Vellum.

Steps to Make This:

1. Cut 2 pieces of Red Metallic Foil Board measuring 5″ X 6”. —-Repeat the following steps for both pieces:
2. Create a “sandwich” to emboss foil board using Wizard Machine. To make a “sandwich” stack from bottom to top as follows: emboss plate, embossing template, foil board {face up}, embossing mat, and cut plate. Follow manufacturer directions if using another die-cut machine.
3. Run “sandwich” through the machine to emboss the foil board.
4. Trim foil board close around the embossed border.
5. Score foil board at ½” across both short sides to form tabs.
6. Use anywhere punch, mat and hammer to punch holes at the center of embossed snowflakes. Avoid punching holes in scored tab areas.
7. Cut 2 pieces of vellum in your choice of color measuring 5 1/4″ X 4″. —-Repeat the following steps for both of the foil board and vellum pieces:
8. Apply strips of double-sided tape around edges of backside of foil board, applying just outside scored tabs at sides and avoiding holes. Place pieces of double-sided tape between any holes along the sides.
9. Remove backing tape and adhere the vellum to the foil board.
10. Score piece at 2 7/8” down center of the shorter side. Be careful when scoring if there are holes along the line; score lightly to avoid breaking through the vellum.
11. Use a bone folder to fold and crease ½” tabs towards the center.
12. Fold in half along the scoreline and crease with a bone folder.
13. Apply double-sided tape to tabs – foil side up – on both sides of ONE of the foil board pieces.
14. Adhere other foil board pieces to one side of the taped piece by overlapping the tabs – making sure the top and bottom edges are even.
15. Fold up foil board pieces along score lines and overlap tabs at ends and adhere to form cover.
16. Two opposing corners of the cover will be slanted.
