  • Craft sheet

  • Hole punch

  • Paintbrush

  • Double-sided adhesive

Steps to Make This:

    1. Cut the Grafix Black and White Craft Plastic into six ATC’s (2.5 x 3.5 inches).
    2. Use a craft sheet and rub the mustard seed, wild honey, and mermaid lagoon distress inks onto it. Spritz with water. Lay the white plastic ATC.s down onto the ink. Repeat as desired and heat set.
    3. Next, use the small harlequin stencil and wild honey ink and stencil areas of the ATC’s with a blender and the stencil.
    4. Add another stenciled layer with the code stencil and mermaid lagoon ink.
    5. Add one more stenciled layer with the dot fade stencil and ground espresso ink. Remember, you can just do a few areas of the ATC with the stencil.
    6. Now, you are ready to stamp the gentlemen onto the ATC’s using black archival ink. Be sure to let this dry, or heat set it so it won’t smudge while you are working.
    7. Add another layer of design by rubbing on some designs using the Remnant Rubs.
    8. A fun element to add is to punch some small holes in strategic areas to enhance your design.
    9. Trim the ATC’s just a bit, so when you adhere them to the black craft plastic, it will create a frame. On the back, add your initials using alphabet stamps and Grafix DoubleTack Adhesive. (I did find as I worked with these, that the inks faded a bit as I touched them. You could use archival inks or paint instead.)
    10. On several ATC’s, add a few drops of the Foundry Wax and heat set it. On each ATC, add a number from your stash (I used a variety of numbers, from clips to brads to plastic) and adhere with glue. Also add a few cogs and gears to each one to give them a bit of a steampunk vibe.
    11. Enjoy your ATC series of Mustached Gentlemen!
