Liquid Frisket Masking Techniques
Project Description: An easy way to create lots of layers and designs using White Mask Liquid Frisket, Original Nib, Rubber Cement Pick Up and more!!

Materials:
- Grafix White Mask
- Grafix Original Nib
- Grafix Rubber Cement Pick Up
- Grafix Low Tack Frisket Film Film
- Sturdy watercolor paper
- Watercolor Paint Brush
- Rubber Stamp
- Rubber Stamp Ink – permanent – several colors
- Spray bottle
- Water jar
- Black Marker
- Paint Pens or markers
- Scissors
Steps to Make This:
- Dip Original Nib in water then into the White Mask Liquid Frisket. Draw designs on your paper using the Nib and Frisket
- Let White Mask to dry.
- Stamp onto paper using a variety of different ink colors and stamps
- Let ink dry.
- Cover with watercolor paint.
- Let watercolor dry.
- Draw on paper with paint pens or markers, making random designs and doodles
- With black marker draw a design on the back of the Frisket Film. Cut out the design or shapes.
- Begin peeling the backing off the design, part way. Start applying to painted surface slowly while removing the rest of the backing as you go until all is adhered to the paper surface.
- Add more watercolor to the surface.
- Let watercolor dry.
- Add more marks with paint pens and markers.
- Let ink dry.
- Remove the Frisket Film to reveal one layer of colors.
- Using the rubber cement pick up, remove the liquid frisket to remove the very bottom layer.
